How to win against Lavaloon? ›

Use the Mega Minion, Minion horde or EWiz to counter the Balloon. However don't place all three of them at once since they can die very quickly to spells. Miner should be used after you have successfully defended a push and you have some troops left that can counter attack.

Drop the Archer Queen to clean up Air Defenses along with 4 balloons with a haste spell to take down outer defenses. This makes a funnel for your troops to go in.

Lavaloons prioritize Air Defenses above all other targets, and will bypass all other enemy buildings and troops while any Air Defenses remain on the battlefield. This is true even if they are under attack by enemy Clan Castle troops, heroes or Skeleton Trap skeletons.

There is always one key thing when you are against any Graveyard deck: Always Tower Trade when you have the chance to do so. Graveyards are not too threatening in a two Tower game.

If opponent does a big push like lumberloon use tesla and tornado once lumberjack dies. If opponent uses freeze use your electro wizard. Also use spells like fireball and zap to knock it back or stun it. If opponent does a big push rush the other side with Mini Pekka and wall breakers.

Drop the spells on the troops to provide extra support in Clash of Clans. Use Rage and Haste on the balloons to increase their attack speed and damage. Use freeze spells to freeze the remaining air defenses and inferno towers. Once all of this is done, one just has to wait and watch the enemy base go down!

If you see a Lava Hound placed in the back, deploy troops that will force your opponent to react. Win conditions like Hog Rider, Ram Rider, and Goblin Barrel are great, as well as troops such as PEKKA, Mega Knight, Elite Barbarians, and Prince.

It is best to strategically place them around several defenses so they can absorb enemy fire better. While Dragons work well with Lava Hounds, you need to watch out for Seeking Air Mines since they are incredibly effective against strong individuals.

2 anti-air troops placed at far distance , such that lightning doesn't cover all of them. Ice wiz + musky, Ice wiz+princess, Ice-wiz + Mega Minion,etc are really good at taking down a lavaloon push. Just make sure your higher dps anti air troop hits the loon.

Use forces or structures that can successfully target flying units to eliminate the Lava Hound and Balloon. For this, cards like Inferno Dragon, Baby Dragon, Mega Minion, and Minions are good choices. Arrange them such that the Lava Hound and Balloon are intercepted before they get to your towers.
