When I first started blogging, the blog was dedicated mostly to crafts and DIY projects. Being at home some much these days, I find myself going back to these earlier blogging roots and crafting my worries away, whenever I can. Hence all the strawberry-themed DIY crafts I'm about to share with you! These easy decor ideas are perfect to decorate any little corner in your home, to style a tiered tray (I'm currently obsessed with them...) or creating a pretty table centerpiece this season.

One of my favorite elements of the Party Like Pineapple birthday table was for sure, the balloon and fronds centerpiece! Originally, I wanted to hang a balloons garland above the dessert and drinks station, but when I was making it on the dining table, I realized it would make a fab tropical centerpiece ! And so a new idea was born!

Summer's here and despite all the uncertainties, life goes on. And so do celebrations! OK, granted. We have to downsize our parties a little, keeping in mind location and a few other social distancing rules...but that shouldn't stop us from celebrating the special moments in our lives, am I right? We just have to adapt a little...and we're okay with that! So, today I bring you a super simple, low-key jungle themed party table with some fun and easy DIY decorations that still look and feel special, for whatever occasion or celebration you may be hosting this season!

Hey, crafty friends! TodayI bring you some easy DIY ideas for creating super pretty floral displays, which are perfect to decorate a celebration table, party space, dinner party tablescape or patio table for any soiree this summer! All these craft projects are super easy, and best of all; they cost very littleto make because they use materials we all have lying around our recycling bins! So these projects are what I like to call "trash to treasure" projects! 😉

Last year, I created a bunch of lemon themed posts here for the blog , but did not have time to style a tablescape. So I decided to style this lemon table this year, with a modern farmhouse vibe and using props and decor I already had at home. I wanted to create an easy table decor that was pretty and fresh, and that would be perfect for any celebration that summer brings, no matter how small. Here are some of my zingy ideas below!

I know I'm a little late posting these this year, but hopefully you can still find some quick and easy ideas here, and feel inspired to create an inviting and meaningful table to gather around with your loved ones this Easter! I have ditched all my usual colorful props in favor of a more neutral, relaxing and peaceful style in-keeping with the faith-filled ambiance I was trying to create for this neutral Easter tablescape and DIY mantel decor.

I ( Mindy ) love Easter. Maybe its the pastel colors or the abundance of candy and chocolate. Either way I love to decorate, entertain and eat too much around this holiday... This year, I'm not doing a huge Easter table like I usually do. Instead, I'm slowing down and focusing more on simplicity, on recycling and up-cycling what I already have on hand to create my décor. Don't know about you, but I'm so over the OTT parties and home decorations! 😉 So, I hope you enjoy these easy, DIY craft projects and tiered tray styling ideas, which are great to add a simple but pretty touch of spring to your Easter tablescape or home!

There are tons of Easter egg decoration ideas and DIYs on Pinterest . But to be honest, some of them are just too involved, or not child-friendly or require blowing out eggs (who has time or patience for that?!). So I just came up with the pretties and EASIEST Easter egg decorating technique , using a medium you already have at home - nail polish! ! :)

As you can probably tell from my recent Easter themed posts here on the blog , I'm currently really into pastels. I know it's not a groundbreaking concept for Easter or spring, but there's just something so cheerful and comforting about pastel colors - be it in parties, food or tablescapes. Am I right? Maybe next year I'll choose a more neutral color palette or farmhouse style for my decor, but pastels it is for my mantel decor this year!

As promised in my Easter brunch post , today I'll be sharing the how-to for that gorgeous, but oh-so-simple, DIY floral table runner! This year I wanted something very colorful and very floral for my Easter brunch table, but that was also easy to make (possibly made in advance) and that packed the wow factor! I think this floral table runner ticks all the boxes, non?! 😊

This feeling of effortless comfort and coziness that our Scandinavian friends are so good at re-creating, is something that really appeals to me at this time of year!

This year, Christmas at ours will be a little more chilled out and relaxed, so my décor will also be a reflection of that. Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year, and after a tough year, I don't want to stress over elaborate décor. So I took my inspiration from nature to start the decorating process, with the styling of my mantel in a neutral farmhouse style . The DIY projects for this décor style are also inexpensive and super easy. Again, reflecting the peaceful and natural atmosphere I want to create at home.

Some of my favorite ways to spend quality time with my kids during the holiday period, is to craft and to bake together. And this year, more than any other, the focus will truly be on family and faith! So rather than share lavish party ideas here on the blog, I've been creating some content that's suppose to nurture those feelings of home, togetherness and of slowing down to focus on what Christmas is truly about.
